More than 50 activists in Lebanon met during the workshop to Draft Economic Policy Papers. The meeting was considered as the third phase of the Leaders Academy organized by the Lebanese Institute for Market Studies.

The participants cooperated with experts on various economic topics such as the medical sector, electricity and alternative energy, women’s empowerment and individual empowerment.

I had the pleasure to facilitate the working group related to women’s empowerment and individual empowerment. This empowerment is essential to realize women’s rights and to achieve broader development goals such as economic growth, poverty reduction, health, education and welfare.
