The training I have delivered assured that Young girls LEAD in working as catalysts to End Gender-Based Violence.
An amazing workshop that engaged young girls in identifying risks and concerns about gender-based violence (GBV) in their community and reflecting on strategies to address them. The workshop was organized by Family Rights Forum and Terre Des Hommes (Helping Children Worldwide) in Lebanon.
Young girls are leading the way and working to drive real, lasting change in our communities and across Lebanon. The workshop raised awareness about their rights and provided education about gender equality and Gender-Based Violence. It created a cultural shift towards supporting survivors, breaking the silence around sexual violence.
Participants will lead sessions in different areas in Lebanon and contribute to changing the causes and perpetration of gender-based violence:
It is great to serve the community by volunteering with to promote gender equality and combat-based violence
