Journalists are on the frontlines of covering the ongoing transition in Yemen. In December 2020, I had the pleasure to train Yemeni journalists on the general principles of International Humanitarian Law and International Human Rights law, including protective mechanisms for journalists in armed conflicts.

The four-day workshop consisted of three interactive sessions per day, aimed to improve the skills of journalists in using the knowledge of Human Rights and peace journalism mainly in armed conflict.

The Training was organized by the Media Association for Peace (MAP) and UNESCO.
