The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Liberty (FNF) celebrated its 60th anniversary in STATION, Jassar Al-Watti, the home of three major events, under one umbrella, “360 Day”, in order to highlight and highlight the Foundation’s ideas and celebration in the spirit of its work in Lebanon.

Under the patronage of the Minister of Interior and Municipalities Nihad Al-Mashnouq and in the presence of the representative Dr. Khalil Jabbara, in addition to the presence of the representative of the Director-General of Internal Security, Brigadier General Marcelino Farah, the representative of the Army Commander, Brigadier General Saeed Al-Qazi, and the representative of the Director-General of Public Security, Brigadier Najem Al-Ahmadiyya, a second dialogue session was held under the theme “Rights Protectors” Questions such as “What brings human rights to the security wire? How can universal human rights standards contribute to the fight against threats to national security?”

The event was organized by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom Lebanon and Syria and the Lebanese Organization for the Defense of Equality and Rights (LOUDER) to present challenges that hinder the protection of human rights while addressing the security threats in Lebanon.
