In the heart of Amman, the Human Rights approach was induced to the investigative journalists. 12 journalists from Jordan, Palestine, Algeria, Libya, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, and other nearby states participated in the Investigative Journalism (IJ) training.
I had the pride of boosting the professional skills of Investigative Journalism (IJ) among reporters in the MENA Region with a focus on Human Rights.
The training workshop opened the opportunity for the production of six-story ideas that were coached by the Amman-based editorial team.
The training took place during ARIJ’s 12th Annual Regional Forum, #ARIJ19 under the theme “Media in a Radicalized World”. It is worth mentioning that ARIJ’s annual forum is the only regional gathering in the MENA region for investigative journalists and editors. In which more than 500 Arab and international top investigative and data journalists from more than 37 countries, and benefit from over 40 edge-cutting panels and hands-on workshops.
