Meeting in Istanbul with a group of women rights defenders, I have facilitated the meeting that highlighted challenges they have been exposed to, like civic space constriction, imprisonment, torture, travel bans, death threats, and targeting family members, the COVID- 19 pandemic has

placed an additional burden on them and on basic resources to ensure their work.

The meeting was organized by LOUDER in partnership with Rafto for Human Rights in Istanbul, Turkey 18-20 December 2021. 20 WHRDs from (Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Jordan, Iraq, Yemen, Egypt, Tunisia Bahrain, and Iran).
