Human rights defenders are on the front line in their vital work. They need to be strengthened by cooperation and solidarity, and networking.

In affiliation with trainers and experts in the MENA, I had the pleasure to take part in establishing the Sudan Network for International Human Rights Law and International Humanitarian Law Trainers SNIT in partnership with the Geneva Institute for Human Rights.

SNIT will bring Human Rights defenders and activists together in an international network, to build relationships, share their knowledge and experience, and implement joint projects and strategies.

During the meeting, participants were introduced to the UN mechanisms of human rights, where they share their knowledge and experience.
