Turning Children rights into practice

Raising awareness on the Convention on the Rights of the Children as a benchmark to protect children.

Workshop for five days in which the participants raised their awareness on how can Convention’s ratification commit the State and other duty bearers to undertake “all appropriate legislative, administrative and other measures” for the full realization of the rights it contains.

Participants were also introduced to the Reports of the Committee and the status of the situation of children in Qatar with the measures taken to realize their rights.

The main guidelines that are needed in the country report were introduced in the framework for supporting “Dreama” to apply for a shadow report for the CRC Committee.
