Trainer on Human Rights for Women in Conflict and 1325 UN Resolution Syrian Refugees

I am delighted to deliver a series of training workshops on women’s rights in light of the international conventions, gender sensitization and security and the implementation of UNSCR 1325/2000. The workshops raised awareness of basic human rights and women’s rights, in particular, the protective mechanisms, the importance of resolution 1325, and women’s and peace and security agenda.

The workshops were organized by with RAFTO Foundation (Norway) and Intersectional Feminist network. The workshop aimed to support and build capacity with respect to Security Council resolution 1325 aiming at advancing women and supporting their empowerment.

The workshops discussed supporting strategies and action plans for the advancement of women in Syria and ways of promoting gender equality and supporting women.
